We have chosen Cooper Oaks Designs for this month's Designer. Sue Mayhugh and her daughter, Denise, run Cooper Oaks Designs. Sue has been a long time designer and stitcher and comes from a long line of stitchers. Sue's two daughters Denise and Danielle (who owns the design line "Birds of a Feather") have both stitched since they were very young and have joined their mother in the business. I have met Sue and her daughters at Winter Market and they are very fun to be around and really good people. Cooper Oaks features multiple designers such as Susan Wallace Barnes, Jane Cather, Christine Beckwith Clark, Susan Verble Gantner, Janet Johnson, Warren Kimble, and other talented artists. The designs are whimsical with strong French influence in several of the artists' work. We have some of their designs in our shop for you to see.
