Society of Women Addicted to Needlepoint meet here and stitch together every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 or stay all afternoon. There is never any fee for the SWANS gatherings.

A Medley of Stitches
Have you ever been at a loss trying to figure out what stitch to use? If so, this is the class for you! Let instructor Mary Graf give you ideas on stitches and threads. The class is taught in a group (maximum of six); bring your own canvas for individualized advice. Each week has a different theme:
1. When You Wish Upon a Star (sky, clouds, stars, moon)
2. Up on the Rooftop (buildings, roofs, windows, fences)
3. Singing in the Rain (water, snow)
4. I Heard It Through the Grapevine (foliage, trees, grass, vines)
5. Button Up Your Overcoat (clothing)
6. How Much Is that Doggie in the Window (fur, hair, beards)
7. Everything's Coming up Roses (flowers)
8. It's Not for Me to Say (knots)
You may find yourself in stitches - the classes are that much fun! - Every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
Class Fee: $35 per session

"12 Days of Christmas" Ornaments
This once-a-month class features NM Art's "Partridge in a Pear Tree" ornament series. Each month you will receive the canvas, a stitch guide and the threads for an ornament. Just think - in a year you will have completed the whole series! You can sign up for individual classes or the whole series. Come see the stitched samples in the store.

Beginning Needlepoint
Jane Arnold teaches this four-week class. You will learn needlepoint basics and a lot more! Basic tent stitch, basketweave, Smyrna and more, ending with a lovely sampler piece that can be made into a pillow.
Tuesdays & Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 noon.
Class fee: $160 include materials necessary to complete your piece in the color of your choice.
